cincodemayo18balloon.jpg5th of May, or “Cinco De Mayo” as most people know it, commemorates an initial victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. I always thought it was a celebration of Mexico’s Independence Day. After a 2 second search on wikipedia I discovered that was indeed not the thruth.

Either way, for some people across the world today is a day of celebration. I’m not really sure what the significance is for people who aren’t of Mexican heritage, but hey if it means another cook out and friends coming over for all out fellowship, I’m in.

O and a few updates….My Braves swept the Reds this last weekend..(sorry Reds fans), we (the band) are traveling up to Minneapolis, MN this Thursday and Friday so that’ll be fun, and last but not least Saturday we’re heading to Evans, Ga for a concert. Keep us in your prayers. Much love yall!!

Hey guys- I had never heard of you before the Orange Concert. Really cool music. Thank you! I am from the Minneapolis area and hope that when you are up here you find out a little about Teen Challenge. It is an amazing drug rehab program that is centered around Christ. It has an out of this world recovery rate because the Spirit of God is working overtime. There ministry is heavy into music and your music is just the kind that could speak to the lost souls. Please consider sending them a CD. Thank you for listening to God’s call and faithfully following it. Rock on!
