Someone mentioned on the Chords Post their interest in my pedalboard and I thought I would take the time to show him and anyone else reading. I just updated my pedalboard… And for those of you that are interested, here are the specs. I’ll list the pedals in the order that I run them in line:
Pedal Train pedal board:
- tone press compressor
- & what (home made pedal)…it’s a dirt pedal
- VooDoo Lab sparkle drive
- boss tuner
- orignal crybaby
- boss RV-5
- boss giga delay ( DD-20)
- line 6 DL4… With expression pedal
- Electro Harmonics POG
- Full Tone supa trem
Hope that helps.

Is your dl4 a keeley mod?
[...] just posted a blog on his gear over at the Fee Band Blog, but I thought I’d post it here as [...]
This is great. What’s underneath look like? I found it challenging to get a power strip, and 9V power supply underneath in a semi-permanent setup.
The DL4 is a keeley mod… It’s great!
hey matt, do u have a bunch of other effects cuz i saw you at dare 2 share at george mason in fairfax. and you had the 10th anniversary fulldrive 2 the fulltone ocd and also the line 6 mm4
Matt,
It was a a pleasure to get to hang with you Sunday at NP. I have been listening to some of your music, both studio and live, and I love your playing and your tone. You guys keep it up out there on the road. You have great things ahead.
Hope we get to hang again soon!
Brad
Hey Matt,
Thanks a lot for sharing this. Can you talk about your Goldtop and what amps you are using these days? At my church we have been doing We Shine, All Because of Jesus and Happy Day.
Also, what were you using on the Louder than Creation recording? We have gotten a ton of mileage out of that one as well.
Thanks man,
Troy
Matt, I forgot the Jack Vaughn website, I am a failure, what was it again?
Mad thanks

Sweet. I love photos of the real deal. I looked into a pedal train board but it was too small to accommodate my switching system.
I’ve got a description of for how I built myDIY pedalboard here. Let me know what you think!

Matt,
Nice to meet you today… and thanks for letting me play
your Les Paul on stage at FBC Maryville while y’all were
doing sound check. The pastor who was killed was my older
brother… we came up from Austin, Texas for the funeral.
The funny thing is this… I assumed you guys were the
church’s youth band or something like that. I didn’t
have a clue that y’all were Fee until, as I was walking
backwards up the church aisle (catching one last glimpse
of where my brother died) I saw your logo on the screen.
I was thinking, wow, I played one of Fee’s guitars, ha!
I play guitar for our church worship team at Hill Country
Bible Church in Hutto, TX, north of Austin. Thanks for
being so gracious, for not running me off (I likely would
have.)
It’s all because of Jesus I’m alive.
Hey Matt! How are ya? Hey, I saw you at Dare 2 Share this past February, and I just have to say, some AWESOME tone! I’d love to know more about that dirt pedal you have, and it looked like at the time you had an AD30 head, maybe some other Orange, on the ground next to you. You had simplified it seemed to me, but still sounded SOOO good! But yeah, would you mind elaborating on that &what pedal? Or is it top secret? God bless you man! THank you for all you do for the worship community!
